Unfortunately my trial home, that I went to a few weeks ago, wasn't the right one for me 😥 I'm now back here in my kennel at the Haven, and as much as I love my Rescue Hub family, a kennel is no place for a big, young, fun-loving boy like me.

I have had a session with the trainer, and he said I was very obedient, and eager to please. He said I am sound sensitive and unfortunately a bit reactive to other dogs. I need a patient person who will help me, be able to see other dogs, and teach me not to react to them. I need a good person who will be patient with me and teach me to be the bestest doggie.

I really just need a chance of a loving home with a patient owner who is willing to work with me on my basic skills. I so much want to please everyone and I love everyone that I meet. I'm big, goofy, affectionate and loving, and I know I will make a great companion for someone.

I feel I will be most suited to live in a more quiet area with a big back yard to explore and have fun in. I would be best to have a yard with no neighbouring dogs if possible.

❌🆘️ PLEASE Help SAVE SARGE!! HE IS DUE TO BE KILLED THIS FRIDAY, 31 JULY, BY THE SUNSHINE COAST COUNCIL, QUEENSLAND!! 🆘️❌

The Sunshine Coast Regional Council have DENIED Sarge going home to his family and have scheduled to have him killed this coming Friday, 31 July - 5 days away!! Sarges family have two options - give up or fight!! They are going to FIGHT and so they will be going to the SUPREME COURT'S to get their baby boy back home where he belongs.

The only way they can do this is with our help! They need our support to help share and donate. To even just lodge documents will cost thousands of dollars. The Council has endless money (your money) but for a family to fight it is not cheap.

Kara, Sarge's mum, had a meeting with their lawyer, and barrister, and they have a very strong case for the supreme courts. They would not be doing this if they thought it was a waste of time. Sarges family are sad and disappointed but now they are fired up and ready to fight for what’s right 🐾🖤🐾

I was so excited on the weekend as I had a meet & greet with a family who was interested in meeting me. I was so happy meeting them and I thought they were happy with me too but they decided I would not be the right doggie for their family 😥

Baxter visited Glamour Dog in St Marys, today to have a lovely grooming session and he was such a good boy. He absolutely loved his bath and all the attention, and touching all over - and he just lapped it all up. He also travelled really well in the car with our vollie, Stacie, and we are sure he can't wait for his next visit.

A BIG shout out to the lovely ladies at Glamour Dog for taking such good care of our big goofy boy, and for doing his grooming session free of charge. Your generosity, kindness and professionalism is so very much appreciated 🙏💙

These three young school girls, formed Puccii collaboratively as a way to create a steady stream of funds that could be donated. The girls have a focus knowing that funds generated from necessary everyday dog items, collars & leads, are being put to good use.

Puccii was initiated by kids who LOVE dogs and CARE for our environment. Over 50% of their profits will be donated to dog rescue shelters across Australia.

Their products are made entirely of recycled materials and are packaged in jute bags and environmentally friendly.
