Where are they now?

Archie – owned by Allira

Archie was found as a stray at only 12 months old and spent his first birthday in the pound without a loving family. Lucky for Archie he didn’t have to wait long and in late January 2016 he was adopted by Rescue Hub volunteer Allira. Since then Archie has started with obedience and agility training proving that shelter dogs are smart and make wonderful pets.

 

Stripes – owned by Emily

Stripes was in the shelter for almost 3 months to which the volunteers could never understand why. He was a friendly and affectionate dog even though he lived in a noisy environment. He went into foster care in February 2016 for a short while until volunteer Emily decided she wanted to adopt him and they have been inseparable ever since.

 

Luna

Luna the 6 year old Staffy was found as a stray in 2016 with  lump under her belly. She was rescued, had all her vet work done and ha her lumps removed. She went down to Wollongong where she was adopted to a loving family.

 

Lucky Girl – currently in long term foster care

Lucky Girl was found as a stray with a huge mass on her back leg. After being rescued and vet checked, her lump was removed. She is now in long term foster care and living the life with other rescue fur brothers and sisters.
